How should the U.S solve it's energy crisis?

America is in desperate need or more oil. As we all have seen the gas prices go up and down in the recent months I'm sure you all have heard of the battle on how the oil crisis should be handled. to begin with most people do not understand what fossil fuels are they are any combustible organic material, as oil, coal, or natural gas, derived from the remains of former life. the united states uses about 17 million barrels of oil everyday the U.S is home of 5% of the worlds population, yet consumes 26% of the world's energy . 90% of the energy we use in this country comes from fossil fuel. which leads to our oil crisis we are dealing with right now.   Dave O' Reilly  states on February 15th 2008 "We're seeing the beginnings of a bidding war for Middle Eastern oil between east and west,"  this statement scared many Americans leaving them wondering if there will be enough oil too make it through the next century . if we continue in this pattern we will not be able too heat our home's drive our cars let alone run major businesses.

By the year 2020 it is believed that world's energy consumption is projected to increase by 50 percent too be honest it is us human beings causing this oil crisis we have no one to blame but ourselves. If we want to change things now is the time too do it and fast. As the days go by things are getting worst and worst to begin with sun, wind, and water are perfect energy sources....Depending on where you are . There are non- polluting ,renewable and efficient for our environment. The only way to fix this oil crisis is to start  using environmentally friendly things like sunlight ,wind and running water  not only do the use of renewable energy sources  help reduce global carbon dioxide emissions, but they also add some much needed flexibility to the energy resource mix by decreasing our dependence on limited reserves of fossil fuel.on another note I feel as though it would be a good thing if we continue on thinking of ways to power up car's ,machines etc instead of depending on other foreign country's.

The problem is fossil fuel is non renewable. They are limited in supply and will one day be depleted. There is no escaping this conclusion. I am a strong believer that if we change things now then we can save our home which is planet earth. It's not so much our generation  that will get hit hard with the oil crisis it's the generation after us. As we continue to destroy our planet the more our climate will change. Despite the promise of alternative energy sources-more appropriately called renewable energy, collectively they provide only about 7 percent of the world's energy needs. This means that fossil fuels.along with nuclear energy -controversial, non renewable energy source-are supplying 93 percent of the worlds energy resources. we can change things if we really want to it's us too us and how far we will go to do so.

Obama's job plan, will this bill pass "right away"?

8sept 2011

President obama took a firm action for his american jobs act, A 147 billion legislative package meant to spur job creation obama stated in his speech "everything in here is the kind of proposal thats been supported by both  democrats and republicans, including many who sit here tonight. and everything in this bill will be paid for. everything."

Although the American jobs act is ready for a vote and could be passed "right away" this particular bill follows the same contours of the $825 billion economic stimulus package obama signed  into law three years ago which had its ups and downs, and most aren't so thrilled about the whole  idea! An ABC-news washington post poll released earlier this week found that 45 percent of americans approve of the job obama is doing as president ,with 53 percent disapproving.

Meanwhile 62 percent of americans say they disapprove of obama's handling of the economy, which means this american job act honestly maybe pass because of previous issues president obama however has a very low chance of having this american jobs act passed because we are in a economic crisis and not very many are willing to take any financial risk.
